Rheumatoid Arthritis: Breakthrough Diets

Foods Most Likely to Trigger or Aggravate Arthritis:
1. Corn
2. Wheat
3. Milk
4. Meat
5. Omega-6 Vegetable Oils (Corn, Safflower, Sunflower)

Foods That May Relieve Arthritis:
1. Fatty Fish
2. Vegetarian Diet
3. Ginger

AVOID: Cheese, milk, butter, all dairy products, eggs, cereals, corn, wheat, gluten, shrimp, meat (beef, p*rk), cured meats (bac*n, h*m, hot dogs, cold cuts) meat fat, nitrite (a preservative in cured meats), animal fats, chemical additives (especially MSG), preservatives, corn oil, mayonnaise, sunflower oil, safflower oil (polyunsaturated fats high in omega-6s), alcohol, hot & strong spices, spicy or acidic foods, peppers, refined sugar, white sugar, citrus fruits, coffee, tomato, white potato, eggplants, garden peppers and other nightshade plants.

EAT: Meatless diets (vegetarian diets), herbal teas, vegetable broth, fruit juices (carrots, beets, celery), fish rich in omega-3 fatty acids (herring, salmon, tuna, mackerel, sardines etc), fish oil, cod liver oil, canola oil, flax, oil, olive oil, ginger, turmeric (curcumin- a prime compound in turmeric), cloves, garlic, kelp, devil's claw, yucca and ginseng.
